The Secret Past of the Second Floor Lion Revealed!
While watching a few episodes of the original The Outer Limits I stumbled upon, in episode five: The Sixth Finger, a site familiar to any denizen of the second floor. It was our very own "lion playing with a ball" statue! See the evidence for yourself:

Needless to say, I was shocked to learn that our very own lion statue had once been an aspiring leonine actor. Further investigation indicated that he had been no mere aspirant, but in fact quite a success with numerous cameo appearances. I eventually uncovered several photgraphs as evidence of his career.
A role in Stanely Kubrick's masterpiece, 2001: A Space Odyssey:

Not to mention Star Wars:
Naturally, I will continue to research the past of our statuesque friend. He's been less than forthcoming on the issue, but I will persevere nonetheless in search of the truth.
