The Path to the Priesthood for Over 100 Years
Steeped in tradition yet focused on the spiritual and pastoral needs of the contemporary Church and its people, Kenrick-Glennon Seminary has been a place of faith, learning and fraternity for more than 100 years. At Kenrick-Glennon, young men discern their calling to the Roman Catholic priesthood. A strong academic program consistent with the Church’s teachings is integrated with human, spiritual and pastoral formation to prepare men for a life of service to the Church of Jesus Christ.
Graduates of Kenrick-Glennon serve as Church leaders in parishes, dioceses and other religious communities in St. Louis, throughout the Midwest, across the United States and other parts of the world. Yet it is here, in a peaceful residential neighborhood in the St. Louis suburbs, that their preparation, commitment and zeal for the priestly life begins.
Kenrick-Glennon offers students a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts Degree Program. These credential and degree programs are typical preparation for students entering the priesthood. College students attend classes in the School of Philosophy and Letters at Saint Louis University. Graduate students in Theology take classes at Kenrick-Glennon and are taught by a renowned faculty, a group of highly trained and qualified priests and lay persons whose ranks include nationally recognized and respected scholars in their fields.
Both the college students and the theology students reside at the Kenrick-Glennon campus in Shrewsbury, Missouri which opened in 1931. The seminary is a 200,000 square foot facility on 30 acres adjacent to the southwest city limits of St. Louis.
Kenrick-Glennon Seminary receives financial support from a variety of sources including tuition, endowments, special appeals and bequests. One of the most important sources of support for Kenrick-Glennon is individuals and companies that make regular gifts to offset the operating expenses of the Seminary. The quality of the program and the excellence of the candidates for the priesthood depend on a spiritual and intellectual environment of the highest caliber.

Kenrick-Glennon Society Membership Levels:
What Membership Means
By joining the Kenrick-Glennon Society you become a part of our mission of teaching, sanctifying and leading young men on a path of spiritual growth, maturity and prayer.
As a member of the Society you will be joining with Pope John Paul II in his prayer for vocations:
Lord Jesus, give the abundance of your life to all the people, especially young men and women, whom you call to your service; enlighten them in their choices; help them in difficulties; sustain them in faith; make them ready and courageous in offering their lives, following your example, so that others may have life.
Members of the Kenrick-Glennon Society join the faculty and staff of the Seminary in welcoming young men who are at a decisive moment in their lives. They participate in the encouragement the Seminary provides for these young men to follow Christ.
All members of the Kenrick-Glennon Society are remembered in the daily prayers and Eucharist of the Seminarians.
