ASSESSMENT OF PROGRAM GOALS
1
By the exegesis of this passage,
I was configured in the very being of Jesus Christ, head, shepherd, and spouse
of the Church more fully due to a deeper understand what it means to be a
shepherd.
2 I was placed both within the Church and in the forefront of
the Church by understanding more fully the responsibilities the Church accepts
for leading.
3 I hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience, and
proclaim this faith in word and action as taught by the Gospel and the Church’s
tradition, because I trust Jesus will not let me go astray.
4 I celebrate the mysteries of Christ and the Liturgy of the
Hours faithfully and religiously, because it allows me to spend time with Jesus
like the apostles.
5 I bring the faithful together into a unified family and
coordinate all the gifts and charisms which the Spirit inspires in the
community, because I must use all I have to help others no matter how small the
offering.
6 I live continently without wife or family and love the Church
in the total and exclusive manner in which Christ loves her, because Jesus gave
all he had for his flock.
7 I use material goods lovingly and responsibly, care for the
poor and the weakest and make myself available to be sent wherever their work is
needed, because that is what a good shepherd does.
8 I respect and obey my ordinary as conscientious fellow-workers
with the bishops and in solidarity with my brothers in the presbyterate, because
they are shepherds, too.
9 I consecrate my life to God and unite myself more closely
every day to Christ the High Priest, so I can be as a shepherd like Jesus.
